Veronica
Veronica discovered yoga after graduating from college. As an ex-division one athlete, her mind and body needed a little bit of love. A friend recommended hot yoga and she was instantly hooked. The classes were the perfect combination of strength-building and mind-releasing. Veronica began practicing several times a week and within 6 months, was enrolled in teacher training. Fast forward to now, she has completed 500 hours of training and taught classes across D.C. through in-person and virtual mediums!
For Veronica, teaching yoga is about sharing the mind-body connection. Her classes look to combine strength building, balancing, mobility, and breath work to keep the mind in the present moment. Expect to move, sweat, and ground down for true self love. As someone who has never considered herself flexible, Veronica prioritizes offering several options in each pose to meet you where you are in that moment.
What I love about Flow:
The community! From the first class I took as a student to now having taught at Flow for a couple of years, the community has been so welcoming. I always walk out of class with a smile on my face, grateful that I was able to step into the magical space that is Flow Yoga Center!
